OWNER - ARCHITECT - LIGHTING DESIGNER

Hi! I’m Suzanne and those are my office-mates, Jeannie and Dakota. After receiving my Bachelor of Architecture from Oklahoma State University School of Architecture, I had the great fortune of interning for one of the premier lighting designers in Dallas and, indeed, the world. That experience plus additional years practicing architecture while achieving that all-important Architectural Registration has led me to be passionate about the integration and balance of lighting to enhance architectural features, finishes and furnishings whether in the built environment or landscape. Integration rather than application is a motto that I design by.

Collaborating with architects and designers to define and fulfill the illumination vision of a project is what I find to be the most rewarding part of my work. A successful project always starts with an enthusiastic owner and design team who come together with open minds and creative energy. I love being a part of that type of work process. I believe that an intentional and thoughtful process and delivery is just as important as inspiration and outcome.

On weekends, you can find me, my husband and our dogs out tromping through the woods, relaxing by a campfire or maybe catching a fish or two!
